For a few years now, fans of Australian music have shown their support for the local scene participating in AusMusic T-Shirt Day. Created by triple j and the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), Support Act serve as a key partner in the initiative, raising funds to provide crisis relief and mental health services to artists, crew and music workers who are doing it tough. While on the outside, it serves as a great way for fans to rep their favourite artist’s merch, it also helps to give back to those who make our music scene great, with 2018’s event raising $111,572 – far beyond their goal of $60,000!
